I am on the market for a new blue-dialed watch and I have short listed it to these 2 very identical watches.
Current rotation as seen on the signature.
I have a 7.25 in wrist.

First is the Hublot classic fusion on alligator strap. Second is the Zenith Defy Classic on bracelet. Two very identical watch, with very different movement. One is a sw300 base vs a zenith in house movement. I am able to acquire both new at relatively the same price. Both are titanium cases, at 41-42mm diameter.

Aesthetic wise I am leaning alot for the hublot, wear and longevity between maintenance wise, I am leaning more for the zenith. I need opinion on which one is better.

Ringer: I saw a Grey hublot chronograph for 800$ more. However it is at 45mm diameter.

I apologize if this was discussed in the past!

EDIT:
I know I stated that I was in the market for a blue-dialed watch. From there I was able to deduce the choice to hublot, before pulling the trigger an amazing opportunity presented itself. I was able to secure a deal with our very own Classik for his hublot classic chronograph in opaline dial. Funds are transferring via wire. I was able to secure this piece for a around the price I was expecting to pay for a brand new 3 hander. So excited!

I'm not sure what your question is? Do you want our opinion on which is better?

The Zenith is much more elegant, and it is going towards the trend away from huge watches.

If I may, there is another option on the market, and it is absolutely stunning in real life:

Thank you for that response, I have edited my post to reflect what I was asking for. Yes, i wanted people's opinion on which one is better.

As for the globemaster, I've seen it in person. However it didnt strike me as something special unlike the aforementioned. These two are absolute mesmerizing to me in person.

When I hear Hublot I usually get ready to throw up but that watch is not bad.

However, the Zenith is the one I would chose.

And FWIW, I agree with you on the Globemaster. I think it's the facets in the dial that upset me.

AND I'll do the usual. You should save up for a .......................VC Overseas in Blue. Just delightful but about twice your (and my) budget.

At this price range I don't see a ETA as a negative at all and the Zenith is effectively a more expensive watch when it comes to long term servicing because of the movement.

I vote Hublot but you may also want to check out the Aqua Terra and Tudor just to cover the price range.

Just bought an engagement ring, I plan on proposing this may so I don't have the funds for such a huge purchase.
VC is still a possibility in the future because my brother promised me a watch to match with him for my wedding, and he has a couple of PP and high end rolexes. I'm courting him for an AP RO or a VC Overseas but I'll settle for anything, haha!

I was seriously considering the exact same Hublot for a long time, I think it's absolutely stunning. In the end, I decided to pay off debt instead of buying watches (wallet happy, wrist sad), but I still consider it one of the more interesting watches I've tried. It sticks out, and I like that.

But, and there is a but, it's a very contemporary style. I imagine it's a style that you could grow tired of more easily once the initial infatuation wears off, and Hublot resale value is not great. If I could find one used at a good price it would be a given, but I'm not sure future me would appreciate me paying full retail for it no matter how much I like it today. Also not great water resistance, titan scratches easily. So pretty, though.

But I also agree: Vacheron Overseas. Blue dial to die for.

Which one is the replica? I need to let him know asap. He has been buying all his watches from my sister's ex-fiance's cousin (long story). I would really appreciate it!

The zenith is winning by a land slide, I agree that long term wise it would cost more to service being it's an in-house movement. Majority of the argument with hublot is just the "blingy" aspect. I wear a bunch of jewelry. I usually wear a couple of gold/diamond rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings when I go out. So I don't mind blingy.

I’m not an Hublot hater as some people are here, I own one still and have owned several. I think they’re great and problem free watches and they have a style all their own, polarizing style apparently.

Both of those are cool looking watches, the Zenith blends in more if that’s what you’re looking for. The Hublot is a bit more noticeable. At this price point, the movement convo is just dumb. ETAs make fine movements and they’re solid.

I don't think they are so identical, to me the Zenith is more traditional, maybe even conservative watch, that could be a GADA watch. The Hublot though, is a little more flashy, stands out in a crowd in a cool subtle way, like James Dean. Both are great watches and for collectors anyway, worth the $. As others have said, in that price range and only a 3 hander, is the movement really that important? I don't think so.

Maybe that's why the Hublot has a more interesting and unique case and design, that is where they choose to invest their money.

Zenith is awesome, but much of their budget went into the in house movement R and D, hence an easier(read less expensive) to manufacture case and design.

If it is just one watch among others in a collection and despite popular opinion (which is usually wrong) I would pick the Hublot...unique design, solid movement, and doesn't look like most other watches. Go for that blue alligator strap...be like Fonzie! And what was Fonzie?...

I thought I would say Hublot; but Zenith has better wrist presence between the photos you shared.
